Objective of the common ln-Service Training Programme  on “Spectrum Engineering,  Management and Economics “ for Mid and Senior level officers of all cadres of DoT is to enlighten the  officers with the various aspects  of Spectrum Management: 

1. To  learn about  spectrum Engineering, various spectrum bands etc.
2. To know about the usage, utilizations of unexplored band such as E and V bands, Terahertz bands etc.
3. To understand about Spectrum Economics and monetization, Spectrum Auction Methodologies, Spectrum auction process etc.
4. To understand spectrum assignment polices ensuring non-interference among various frequency bands.
5. To give exposure of Spectrum assignments/management in the context of Telecommunication Act 2023,  spectrum re-farming  & Harmonization etc.
6. To learn other aspects related with Spectrum management

Mid & Senior Level officers (ITS, IP&T FAS , IRRS cadre )  from Department of Telecom

Competent authority  should have nominated the officer for attending this course
